The service

This is a public board where people post app ideas they will not build, so that someone else can. You use it without an account. It is provided as is, with no warranty of any kind, and you use it at your own risk. It may change or go offline at any time.

Posts are permanent

Once you publish an idea it cannot be edited or deleted by you. There is no login, no token and no self-service delete, so there is no way to prove a post is yours later. Only the operator can remove a post, and will always do so on request when a post is about a real, identifiable person.

Ideas are public and free to build

Everything you post is public and free for anyone to read, copy and build. The site takes no position on who thought of an idea first and offers no protection, credit or claim of ownership to anyone.

The Idea Checker

What it is. An automated read of the text you type, and nothing more. It is not advice, not a valuation, not a prediction, and not a reason to build something or not to. “Build readiness” says how clearly the description is written, not how good the idea is or whether it will work.
What it sees. Only the text you submit. It knows nothing about the market, about competitors or about revenue.
Free, as is. It is free and provided as is. There is no guarantee that it is available, that an answer is accurate, or that two reads of the same text agree. It has limits per person and per day, and it may change or be withdrawn at any time.
Your text stays yours. You keep whatever rights you had in what you paste. Checking an idea publishes nothing: an idea is public only when you press Publish on the post form, and that is permanent. Paste only text you are free to share with the processor below.
A third party reads it. The text is passed to TypeSafe AI, Inc., in the United States, to be read. What that involves, and what is and is not known about how long it keeps the text, is on the privacy page.

Sponsorship

A sponsor slot is a single placement for one fixed calendar month, live from the 1st at 00:00:00 UTC to the last day of that month at 23:59:59 UTC. Payment is one-off: nothing recurs and nothing renews. Nothing is reserved before payment clears, and there is one sponsor per category per month. Every placement is approved by hand before it goes live. There are no refunds, with one exception: a placement rejected on review is refunded in full.

All sponsor months are counted in UTC. Month boundaries, the dates shown in the booking grid, the moment a placement goes live and the moment it comes down are all Coordinated Universal Time, not your local time and not the operator’s. The month shown as running is whichever month contains the current UTC instant.

A booking made during the month that is already running starts when the payment clears and ends at 23:59:59 UTC on the last day of that same month, so it runs for less than a whole month. A part-month booking is charged the full monthly price: there is no proration, no partial refund and no discount for the shorter run, and the no-refunds rule above applies to it unchanged. The running month is offered while slots remain, until 23:59 UTC on its last day.

Starting immediately, and the right to withdraw

A sponsor slot is a service that starts as soon as it is paid for — the placement is scheduled and, if you booked the running month, it goes live within minutes. By completing checkout you expressly request that it starts immediately, and you acknowledge that once it has been fully performed you lose any statutory right of withdrawal you would otherwise have had, to the extent the law allows that right to be given up. This matters mainly if you are a consumer in the EU, where a 14-day right of withdrawal normally applies to services bought at a distance.

You are shown this at checkout and have to confirm it there before you can pay. It is not buried in this page: the booking form will not open a checkout until the box is ticked, and the confirmation is recorded against the payment.

Where a consumer right cannot legally be waived, it is honoured, whatever this page says. If you believe you have a right here that has not been respected, email gianmaurice@proton.me and say so; it will be dealt with rather than argued about.

Placements are advertising, not endorsement

A sponsor placement is paid advertising. It is not editorial, not a review, not a recommendation and not an endorsement. The operator does not test, audit or vet what a sponsor sells, does not verify their claims, and has no relationship with them beyond taking one month’s payment for one month’s placement. If you buy something from a sponsor, that is between you and them.

What a payment does not buy

It buys a placement, for a month, in a fixed position. It does not buy traffic, clicks, visitors, customers, sign-ups, revenue, ranking, or any particular outcome. No number is promised and none is guaranteed.

Click counts are no longer published. They were once shown on the card and on the stats page; they are not any more, anywhere public. Clicks are still counted, and the operator will tell you on request what your own placement delivered. That figure is a past measurement of one placement in one month, never a forecast: what one sponsor got says nothing about what you will get, and nothing on this site should be read as a projection.

A placement can also be interrupted by things nobody controls: an outage, a hosting failure, a network problem. The site is provided as is, and downtime is not refunded.

Who may book

You are 18 or over.
If you are booking for a company or anyone other than yourself, you have authority to enter into these terms on their behalf.
You are not a person, and not acting for an entity, targeted by applicable sanctions, and the placement is not for the benefit of one.

What you promise about your link

When you book, you are stating that:

You own the destination site, or you are authorised to advertise it on the owner’s behalf.
It complies with the law where it operates and where its visitors are, and it is not malware, phishing, a scam, or a page whose purpose is to deceive.
You are not impersonating another person, product or company, and the title, keywords and icon do not suggest a relationship that does not exist.
The details you give — including your email address — are accurate and yours.
Your own site shows valid operator details where the law requires them. Many places, Switzerland included, require anyone selling online to publish who they are and how to reach them. If your destination is missing those details, or they are false, that is grounds to remove the placement with no refund.

The rules say what a placement may not contain. Links are checked against them at booking, before you pay, but that check catches the obvious cases only — passing it is not approval.

Refusal and removal

The operator may refuse, edit, hide, pause or remove any placement, at any time, for any reason or none, without a refund. That includes a complaint from a rights holder, a legal risk, a reputational risk, or simply not wanting the placement on the site. The one case that is refunded is the one already stated: a placement rejected on review, before or shortly after it goes live, is refunded in full.

If a placement is removed for breaking these terms, the month is not refunded and not rescheduled.

Chargebacks

Raising a chargeback or payment dispute without a legal basis, instead of emailing about the problem, is a breach of these terms. The placement may be removed immediately and future bookings refused. Email first — a genuine problem gets sorted out.

Names, logos and icons

To draw a sponsor card, this site fetches and displays material from the destination you give it: the site’s icon or favicon, its name, and basic page metadata. It is used for one purpose only — identifying the destination the link goes to — and it implies no affiliation with, sponsorship by, or endorsement from anyone.

All trade marks, logos and names remain the property of their owners. Nothing here claims any right in them, and displaying them is not a claim of association. If you own a mark that appears here and you would rather it did not, say so and it comes down — see the complaints section below.

What you grant. By booking, you give the operator a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, reproduce, resize and display the title, keywords, link and icon you supply — on this site and in ordinary promotion of it — for as long as needed to run and record the placement. You keep everything you owned before; this is only permission to show it. The licence ends when the placement does, except for records that have to be kept and copies already made in caches, logs, backups or archives.

If you are a rights holder

If a placement infringes your rights, email gianmaurice@proton.me with:

the exact URL on this site where you saw it, and which card;
what right you hold and what is infringing it;
enough to show the right is yours, or that you may act for the owner;
how to reach you.

A placement may be hidden or restricted while a complaint is being looked at, without that being an admission that the complaint is right. There is one person here, so expect a human reply rather than a ticket number.

Availability, and changes to these terms

The site is provided as is and as available. There is no uptime commitment, no support commitment and no guarantee that anything keeps working.

These terms can change. The version in force is the one on this page, with the dates at the top. The terms in force when you completed checkout are the ones that govern that payment — a later change does not apply backwards to a month you have already bought.

Prohibited content

Do not post anything illegal, do not target or expose a private individual, and do not post spam, malware or content you have no right to share. The operator may remove anything, at any time, for any reason, without notice.

No warranty

To the fullest extent the law allows, the site and everything on it are provided without warranty of any kind, express or implied — including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, or non-infringement. Ideas posted here are other people’s writing, not checked by anyone, and destinations linked from sponsor cards are not vetted.

Liability

To the fullest extent Swiss law allows, the operator is not liable for any damage arising from your use of the site, from anything posted here, or from anyone acting on an idea they found here.

If your link causes a problem

If someone brings a claim against the operator because of a placement you booked — what your destination contains, what it sells, what it does to visitors, or a right it infringes — you will cover the reasonable cost of dealing with it, including legal costs. This does not apply to anything caused by the operator rather than by you.

Payments

The operator of this site is the seller of record for every sponsor slot: your contract for the placement is with the operator, an independent developer based in Switzerland, whose full name and postal address are on the imprint and who is reachable at gianmaurice@proton.me. Payments are processed by Stripe, which acts as the payment processor and nothing more — Stripe is not the merchant of record and is not the seller. The operator is responsible for any applicable VAT, GST or sales tax on the sale. The operator is not registered for VAT anywhere, and therefore charges none: no tax is added at checkout, and the price you see is the price you pay. Stripe emails you its payment receipt for the transaction; any invoice beyond that comes from the operator on request.

Who you are contracting with is stated in full — legal name and postal address — on the imprint. That is the seller of record for every sponsor slot sold here.

The rest

Severability. If part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest still stands and that part is read as narrowly as it needs to be.
No waiver. Not enforcing something once does not give it up. A right is only waived in writing.
Assignment. You may not transfer your booking or these terms to anyone else without permission. The operator may transfer them if the site changes hands, and will say so on the site if that happens.
Entire agreement. These terms, the rules and the privacy page are the whole agreement about your use of this site, and they replace anything said beforehand.
