Posting

One idea per post. If you have three, post three.
Use a real name or a handle you use elsewhere.
Post ideas you are not going to build. This is not a place to promote something you already shipped, that is what the sponsor slots are for.

Publishing is permanent

There is no edit and no delete. Once a post is live it stays live, and the person who wrote it cannot take it back. Only the admin removes posts, for the reasons below. Check your post before you publish it.

Not allowed

Sexual content, harassment, anything illegal.
Chat and invite links: Telegram, WhatsApp, Discord and the rest.
Link shorteners and affiliate links. Query strings are stripped from every link.
Posting the same idea repeatedly to push it up the feed.

The Idea Checker

It reads only what you type and gives you a read of how clear and buildable the description is. It is not advice and it does not predict anything. Checking an idea publishes nothing, but the text is sent to a US service provider to be read, so do not paste anything you need to keep private. The details are in the terms and on the privacy page.

Who owns an idea

You do, in the sense that nobody here can stop you building it. But posting it publicly means anyone can build it, this site takes no position on who got there first, and it offers no protection. If an idea is worth protecting, do not post it.

Saying you built one

Every idea has a Link your app button. Fill in the form and your build appears on that idea immediately — no account, no approval, no waiting. Several people may claim the same idea, and that is the point: the board is showing that an idea got built, not deciding who was first. A “Shipped” tick marks the idea as built without closing it; anyone can still build it.

A build link means someone says they built something from this idea. The site does not verify it and does not vouch for the product. Judge it yourself.
Your email is required and is never published. It is not shown anywhere on the site. It exists so I can reach you, and so a spammer has to burn an address to post. It creates no account and grants no rights.
Build links are nofollow. They pass no ranking value, they go through a redirect rather than straight out, and the same link rules that apply to a paid sponsor slot apply here — no shorteners, no affiliate links, nothing on the not-allowed list above.
Ten builds per idea, and the same link cannot be posted twice on one idea.
Anything that does not belong is removed, the same as any other post.

Removal

A post gets removed if it breaks a rule above, or if it is about a real person who asks. That second one always wins over permanence.

Sponsor slots

One month, one payment. Nothing recurs, nothing renews, no subscription. When the month ends the placement disappears on its own and the slot goes back into the pool.
No refunds. Booking a month takes that slot off the market for everyone else, so bookings are final once paid. The single exception is a placement rejected on review, which is refunded in full within a day.
Nothing is reserved before payment clears. Only after Stripe confirms does the upload happen and the slot get scheduled. Until then the month stays open for anyone.
The price is the whole price. I am the seller of record, not the payment provider, and I am not registered for VAT anywhere — so no VAT, GST or sales tax is added at checkout, whatever country you are in. $25 means $25.
What a sponsor link may not be. Checked at booking, before you pay, and named in the error if it fails: no adult content, no gambling or casinos, no chat or invite links (Telegram, WhatsApp, Discord, Signal), no link shorteners, no affiliate links, nothing illegal. A link to your own Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, X, YouTube or GitHub is fine. Query strings are stripped from every link that is accepted.
One sponsor per category per month. Category slots are exclusive; the same category can never be sold twice for the same month.
Every sponsor month is counted in UTC. A month runs from the 1st at 00:00:00 UTC to the last day at 23:59:59 UTC. Placements go live and come down on those boundaries automatically, wherever you or your buyers happen to be.
Booking the month already running costs the full monthly price. If slots are still free mid-month you can take the rest of it, right up to the last day at 23:59 UTC: the placement goes live as soon as the payment clears and comes down at the end of that month like any other. A part month is charged the same as a full one — there is no proration and no discount for the shorter run, and the no-refunds rule above applies unchanged.
Every placement is checked by hand. No adult content, no gambling, no crypto trading, no impersonating another product.
A placement never affects a post, a vote, a search result or a generated prompt.
Clicks are counted, and they are private. Every placement’s clicks are recorded the same way they always were — once per visitor per hour, bots and prefetches excluded — but the number is no longer published on the card, on the stats page, or anywhere else public. If you have a placement and want to know what it delivered, ask and you will be told.
